Two Words: HIGH HEELS!!!!! I really need to step up my heel game. I am seeing all these celebrities with these bomb heels on, and I realized that I need to expand my own collection, which as of right now only consist of three heels, that are all black. So I'm ready for some color to pop out any clothing in my wardrobe. Enjoy these pics for your shoe-gasmic pleasure :)

It's Taking Over!

So this "Jerkin" phase has really taken over. The "New Boyz" definitely made a hit when they came out with their song "Your a Jerk". Everytime my 10 year old cousin comes to my house she is always jerkin....always! This girl walked thru the door jerkin! I couldn't believe it, then when she was sitting down she was like, "i miss jerkin". I'm like, you just jerked like 2 mins ago...wth! LMAO. So n e way I understand that there is always that one dance that has its phase. Remember the "Wobble", or the "Chicken Head", or the "Harlem shake". yea buddy, those were definitely the times man. So now it is time for all the Jerk Heads to come out and show us what they got. Also with jerking came a style, the urban meets skater type clothing, with the bright skinny's and checkered pants. Personally, the clothes are just way too bright and out there for me. But hey, if you like it then go ahead. And dont worry, if you don't know how to jerk, Audio Push does a good job of teaching it. Check out the Vid, "Teach Me How to Jerk" :)

P.S. I definitely know how to jerk and reject! :)

Wow!

So, I'm not a huge football fan at all. But this dude right here will definitely make me want to become one...WILL DEMPS!!!! Drake, ur gonna have to move over cuz sumone else is taking the number one spot on my celebrity crush list. Do u see that face?? OMG...he is too poppin for his own good. He shall have a blessed life with those looks. LOL

Disco Stick

Ok...sooo I know I am kinda late with this, but Lady Gaga's "Love Game" is stuck with me. Like i can't get over that song. Yea i will admit, I love pop music. But when she first came on the scene I didn't rele like her. But that has changed thanks to this song. The catchy hook "lets hav some fun this beat is sick I wanna take a ride on your disco stick" gets me everytime. I don't know LOL. the beat is pretty legit too! You Go Lady Gaga, you go! ahaha. Oh yea, her hair is on point too, watever it is, a wig or a weave, or extensions, its nice.

Summer Hobby turned into a New Found Love

So at the beginning of summer, with my sis constantly at volleyball practice, and me with nothing to do at home, I decided to take on a new hobby...KNITTING AND CROCHET! And I can say that I have grown to love both! It is a good way to pass time and I have made some really nice stuff too! As you can see, I am excited about this. And I will continue to crochet and knit for as long as I enjoy it. And it is a money saver. I now make my own earrings and headbands. So instead of spending $5 on store bought earrings and headbands I can put that towards something more useful, like food lol, or ore yarn to make more earrings and headbands. I will be selling soon too :)

My Hair Journey

Ok people...I got a perm when I was about 8 years old. My hair was sooooo thick and kinky that combing it was too much of a hassle for my mom...and waaaaaaaaaay too painful for me to handle. So there I was at the shop waiting in the chair for the hair lady to put that white soothing cream onto my hair, knowing that when it was rinsed out I would come out a new woman, well, a new girl. But the beauty of the perm only lasted for a few months. But I didn't keep up with it, so my hair eventually started to break. So I resulted to getting braids. Which helped for a bit. But I am inpatient, and I didn't like sitting in one place for my hair to get done. So I stopped getting braids and just left my hair out. But that meant constant heat. I would literraly flat iron my hair every day before going to school. Sad right?? By senior year in high school my hair was breaking and I made the drastic decision to just cut it. Yes, I cut my hair into a short bob, real short. It was really cute tho. But when prom came I wanted a weave, and boy did I get a weave, a 16-inch! And it was brown....wat was i thinking??? After that I continued to get weaves after weaves, glue-ins and sow-ins, throughout most of my freshman year in college. then one day I realized that I did not want a weave anymore, and I decided to do my own braids. At that time I hadn't had braids for about 5 years. And from then on I realized how nice I looked in braids. This summer I wanted something knew. I always liked the way kinky twist looked on people. It really brought out the beauty in their face, so, I learned how to do kinky twist, with the help of my cousin. And yes, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! This is definitely my new hairstyle. And no more heat, I am going natural. So when the kinky twist come out I am gonna do some home remedies to keep my hair healthy. Oh yes, I am excited for what is to come :) Oh yea, if you need your hair done, braids or kinky twist, LET ME KNOW! :)
